History
Crisci Tool and Die, Inc. was established as a machine shop in 1964 by Peter and Sam Crisci, specializing in manufacturing molds for the plastics industry. At that time, mold building was a very labor-intensive industry relying on the skill and craftsmanship of mold-makers. The capability and complexity of molds was limited by the technology available at the time for the mold designer and mold maker. Peter and Sam, both progressive individuals determined to be the best in their field, were among the first in the nation to equip and implement CAD/CAM into their impressive operation. Their creativity combined with the power of CAD/CAM allowed them to offer their customers design solutions never before thought possible.
In 1973, they established Acromatic Plastics, a custom injection molding operation. Their goal was to create a full service plastic molding company capable of satisfying the stringent demands of advanced technology companies which were rapidly creating new and more demanding applications for molded parts.
Today, we are routinely selected by our customers to participate in early supplier involvement programs. As we continue working to wards unique and advanced tooling and molding techniques, we welcome the opportunity to become your world-class partner.
